Hole in the Wall is a pub/restaurant in Cambridge and run by Alex Rushmer who was a MasterChef finalist in 2010. It’s like an old fashioned pub with it’s red patterned carpet but the food is wholesome and more expensive than you’d expect from such a pub. The Telegraph review says:

“There were no foams or futuristic gels. But The Hole in the Wall passed the crucial test of any restaurant, which is whether you’d go back. Already, we are planning a return trip”.

We haven’t been there yet but they told us that all the doorways in the pub have a step in them; there are many different rooms of different sizes and you can get around them with a bit of help over the steps – they are the only steps in the building.

As for the disabled toilet they have one but it’s not totally wheelchair accessible as there are no handrails – so it’s basically a big toilet cubicle. Worth a visit, maybe??
