Prism is part of the Harvey Nichols group of restaurants. I have been there many times entertaining clients in The City as it’s on Leadenhall St., close to The Lloyds Building. Access is all on one level and the staff are always helpful. The food is very good – Modern European with the odd Burger thrown in! However, I mainly go for the atmosphere, it’s in an old bank and has the usual high ceilings and columns. It’s impressive and airy, and the light is forgiving. There’s also plenty of space between tables.
At night I prefer to go to the bar downstairs – the disabled toilet is here, plenty of room but only one grab rail. It’s accessed by a lift which occasionally is home to some kitchen supplies but at least there is one. The bar has a good selection of snacks, cocktails and champagnes. Upstairs also has a cocktail bar but I prefer the music downstairs.
An old favourite City joint that never let’s me down. Prism gets 2.5 BBS Ticks!
